The very nice driver said she regularly charges $25 for half an hour (or something like that,) but couldn't take us anywhere today because she was under contract with a bride and groom. However, she did agree to accept Matt's offer of five bucks to let BlogDog pose for a quick photo.

Oh, happy horsey day

What a great picture!!! And very well worth Matt's $5! How did BlogDog like it?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad BlogDog didn't mistake the horsey for a big squirrel.
ReplyDeleteJanie --BlogDog seemed pretty down with being in the cart. But he is so patient, he's usually down with anything.
ReplyDeleteEugene, We were suprised how uninterested he was in the horse. It's not like he sees a lot of large animals in his city life. Maybe he is only interested in animals he can chase -- he is really intrigued by flies...
Wow, you three definitely got your five dollars worth. That's way better than a Subway five dollar foot long. How did BlogDog get along with the horse?
ReplyDeleteWe're glad you liked the picture, Dave!
ReplyDeleteBlogDog didn't seem to notice the horse much. I think he was too busy keeping an eye on Matt to make sure he didn't go too far away.
