Colfax Ave., technically 15 Ave., has a proud history. Once grand, this longest commercial street in the country, featured in Jack Kerouac's "On the Road," fell into disrepair in the 70's. Although Denver has put time and money into its revitalization, and many locals love the street, it is still not really what most people would call beautiful. Except tonight, with the setting sun, it almost was.
