At least the shoe is as good as new

Mary had to visit Dardano's Shoes at 1550 S. Colorado Blvd to pick up a shoe that needed repair due what has become know as the "shoe breaking incident." It's a tragic tale of carelessness exacerbated by thoughtlessness, culminating in a drunken, long distance apology.

BlogDog came along for the ride, although he was tired of hearing the story.

  2. I am glad to hear that the infamous shoe was not lost forever! And I never tire of hearing the story - it really is a classic! However, I think that JR owes you many more apologies!!!

  3. I agree that the shoe breaking incident was careless and that the apology was too long in coming! Although- it made for an entertaining story...

    Glad the shoe is fixed!

  5. Thanks for the support with the shoe situation. I think I have recovered.

Beth -- If you need a cobbler, I would recommend Dardano's for sure. The shoe looks good as new!
