Tony's Market is a cool, relatively new addition to the Capital Hill/Golden Triangle neighborhoods. This location, at 950 Broadway, is the fifth store in the Colorado-based chain.
BlogDog went to check out the daily specials posted in front of the store. He read the sign -- Blah, blah, boring, boring, MEAT!, Chicken!, Meatloaf!, Beef!, blah, blah.
Those readers who know Matt will know that he read the sign the exact same way.
BlogDog lives in downtown Denver with Matt and Mary. He loves snacks, squirrels and sniffing around in the Mile High City.
BlogDog was adopted from the MaxFund at age 4 (or maybe age 6. He won't tell.) People have told Matt and Mary he looks like all the following: boxer, terrier, german shepard, dingo, hyena, catahoula, lab, pointer, and, no joke, a poodle.
He doesn't check his e-mail all that often – after all, he's a dog and generally more interested in snacks, naps and squirrels – but he will definitely get back to you!
BlogDog,
ReplyDeleteI am right there with you...I think anything other than meat (in particular beef) is blah blah boring boring!
Must run in the blood BlogDog because I read it that way too.
ReplyDeleteBlogDog,
ReplyDeleteI agree with Eugene and Janie...thought I was going to write something witty..but they beat me to it!
I am still hung up on the pic of Baxter. That dog is crazy/cute!
ReplyDeleteJanie, Eugene, Maura -- Thanks for your support on the interpretive reading!
